Books on "Sales" didn't help me shine in sales calls. Because ...

When I became a CTO and knew I need to get into sales calls, I picked the usual books on sales.

Spin Selling
To Sell is Human
Psychology Of Selling
Sales Bible

None of them helped me.

No doubt, they were all fantastic books. The issue was:

I wasn't a sales person. Or I wasn't looking to set up a sales process.

As a CTO, I was helping to close the sale. I was in sales support. For that there were no books or resources.

Only book that helped me was the reliable "The 7 habits" book. It taught me a structured approach is the only way to play. And I need to be inter-dependent.
